Privacy Policy

When you use DuoAI we collect and store the information you and your partner choose to put in the app:

• Account details — your email address and password (passwords are stored only in hashed form) when you sign up.
• Profile answers — your onboarding answers about music, food, activities, sports, hobbies and what you count as a romantic date.
• Dates — the dates you plan: title, time, location, activities, guests and notes.
• Photos — photos you add to your relationship timeline, taken with your camera or chosen from your gallery.
• Check-ins — your daily answers and your partner's, plus your check-in streak.
• AI chats — the messages you send in the Vault, whether a chat is private to you or shared with your partner.

DuoAI can connect to your Google Calendar to make date planning easier. Access is read-only: DuoAI never creates, changes or deletes events in your Google Calendar.

Your calendar data is used only to show free and busy times for you and your partner in the couple's date planner, so you can find slots that work for both of you.

DuoAI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not sold, not shared with third parties, and not used for advertising or to train AI models.

You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from your Profile page. After disconnecting, DuoAI no longer reads your calendar and your calendar data stops feeding the free-time finder.

To delete your account and the data connected to it, email us at salib.george@gmail.com and we will delete your account, profile answers, dates, timeline photos, check-ins and chats. You can also disconnect from your partner from your Profile page, which ends the shared pairing and its shared data.

DuoAI's AI features — the Vault relationship chats and AI gift ideas — are powered by a third-party AI provider. When you use these features, the relevant context (for example your message and, if you enable it, parts of your profile) is sent to that provider to generate a response.

Do not share information in AI chats that you would not want processed for the purpose of answering you. Your check-in answers, timeline photos and calendar data are never sent to the AI provider.

DuoAI is built for two. Dates, check-ins, the timeline and shared Vault threads are visible to you and the partner you pair with — and only to you two. Private Vault threads stay private to you.

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update this page. Continued use of DuoAI after a change means you accept the updated policy.
